Check for Cataracts and Age-Related Vision Changes

This screening is suitable for individuals who have concerns about their vision or would like a focused assessment for cataract-related changes.

Cataracts develop gradually and may affect vision over time. Early changes are not always noticeable. This screening focuses on assessing the clarity of the lens, visual function, and retinal health to look for signs that may be associated with cataracts.

The screening includes an eye health assessment by an optometrist, vision and eye pressure checks, and imaging to support the evaluation of the lens and retina.

If further evaluation is required, a referral to an ophthalmologist will be arranged.

Who should consider this screening

  • Adults aged 50 and above
  • Anyone experiencing blurred or cloudy vision, increased glare sensitivity, especially at night
  • Frequent changes in spectacle prescription
  • Anyone seeking a second opinion on a previous eye assessment
